Born and raised in Houston, TX and recent graduate from University of North Texas. With a BFA in New Media Art with a minor in psychology. Most of the concentration is in the creation of audio based visuals from the waveform of songs/instruments, VR experiences and some digital fabrication. Some of the inspirations that are pulled, come from the late 60's early 70's counter culture, metal, punk and grunge culture, a bit of Kabbalah, and all of psychedelia.

Artist Statement

My work and research cause my art to blend between spirituality, psychedelia, synesthesia, and the alteration of consciousness(sanity). Psychology plays an essential role in how I convey my work. Experiences in from altered states of consciousness are always changing giving inspiration and personal growth for me to create work from. Because our brains work within certain homeostatic ranges, most of what we consume is broken down into molecules, our brain is constantly consuming chemicals and hormones. Neurodynamics as well as pharmacodynamics has helped me understand the relationships between the neurotransmitters, responsible for certain altered states of consciousness, and how the neurochemistry is affected by the things we consume/our environment. My research examines and explores the reasons why certain events/interactions affect us in certain ways. By using animation, projection, VR/AR, and music to generate the same states of mind/visual experience one could have.
